Free printable behavior charts are often used to help kids overcome common behavior problems. You can use these charts to get chores done, help siblings get along, get ready in the morning, etc.

One of the biggest challenges both parents and teachers face is finding a way to encourage children to behave well without resorting to yelling, threatening, or bribery. Many experts claim that rewarding children (not bribing them) is one of the most effective ways to reach this goal. Praise them for doing something right instead of reprimanding them for misbehaving. It is easy to forget to do this. However, when you are tracking behavior with a behavior chart, it reminds you to praise your children for good behavior.

Print the behavior chart that your children choose or one that you think they will like. Place it somewhere where everyone will see it, such as on the fridge. Each time your children show positive progress or behave well, mark the chart or give them a sticker to stick on the chart. Offer a reward when their behavior chart is full of stickers. Most charts on this site have space to write the goals that your children are trying to achieve. If your children cannot read yet, then you can add photos of them doing whatever you want them to do. For example, if the reward chart is to reward kids for brushing their teeth, then add a photo of them brushing their teeth. To add a photo, open the behavior chart maker, and click on “Add Image.”

Disciplining children effectively can be constructive and fun!
