How to use your finished chart

Introduce the chart together and explain what completing a task looks like. Practice unfamiliar tasks with the child. Mark progress when it happens and notice effort. If the chart feels too hard, simplify the tasks or the target.

For feelings, use a check-in rather than a reward for feeling a certain way. For potty practice, choose achievable practice steps and respond calmly to accidents.

For school, keep individual progress private and adjust expectations to each student’s needs.
